Deactivation doesn’t remove Office from the computer, but you can’t use Office on that computer until you activate it.

I am incredibly frustrated. Whenever I go to install Microsoft OfficeI receive the error “Microsoft Office encountered an error during setup. I have had two Microsoft technicians log in to my computer to address the issue. Both were unsuccessful. I’ve run srtup various “Fix its” with absolutely no results.

I’ve edited the registry, renamed and deleted the Microsoft Help folder, and deleted all temp files with microsoft office 2013 encountered an error in setup free download results.

I too had this problem. My computer was 32 bit according to system information but I installed 64 bit version and it worked fine. This site in other languages x.
